More specifically, Yamaha Star and Kawasaki Vulcan style floorboards. Floorboards that are designed to flex upwards in the event of a sharp turn by utilizing a spring hinge. Cruiser Kick-Out Pegs reduce your turning angle and clearence when extended. Other motorcycle manufactures may not use a smooth bottom - spring hinged (flip up design) feature into their floorboards. Adding anything additional (to or around) rigid mount style floorboards, could limit your turning angle and clearence. Although Cruiser Kick-Out Pegs are designed to fold back under the foot rest, it is recommended that you only extend Cruiser Kick-Out Pegs on staright open road situations, otherwise fold them in when not in use. Cruiser Kick-Out Pegs are not intended to hold your entire body weight. Failure to follow these instructions could result in injury.
